  9.                     This  package  contains  the  files required to install
  10.             Twin Express, a fast file transfer program, on your system.
  11.             
  12.             DISTRIBUTION FILES:
  13.             
  14.               README : This file.
  15.               TWIN   : The file transfer program.
  16.               INSTALL: The installation procedure.
  17.               TWINDOC: A 30 pages user's guide.
  18.             
  19.             CURRENT LIMITATIONS:
  20.             
  21.               1. The  maximum number of subdirectories being processed at a
  22.                  given  time is limited to 64. However, the file system can
  23.                  usually  contain  much more subdirectories than this limit
  24.                  without  any  problem.  This value could be easily changed
  25.                  if anyone experiences a problem with it.
  26.             
  27.               2. Total  length  of  a  file name and wildcards must be less
  28.                  than  35 characters (excluding the length of the directory
  29.                  path).  The length of the directory path is limited by the
  30.                  length of the input line and/or the system limitations.
  31.             
  32.               3. Total  length  of  an  input  line (command + parameters +
  33.                  options) must be less than 120 characters.

  36.             KNOWN PROBLEM:
  37.             
  38.               1. On  one Amiga system equipped with a de-interlacer A-2320,
  39.                  the  screen  was slightly disturbed during transfer tests.
  40.                  This  seems  to be related to interrupts being blocked for
  41.                  a  period too long for this device. This problem should be
  42.                  fixed in a future release.

  45.             NOTE:
  46.  
  47.               1. If you want to transfer files between an Amiga and an IBM-
  48.                  PC,  you need to pay  only  ONE  registration fee for BOTH
  49.                  versions. Clearly indicate that you have both computers on
  50.                  the registration and order form.
